THE STEFS OF THE SUB-QUATERNARY RELIEF IN LITHUANIA AND THE ADJACENT TERRITORY. A. Sliaupa, Geological Institute of Lithuania, Vilnius

The relief of the sub-Quaternary surface is of stepped character. The steps are dissected by incisions, and the formers represente actually a system of elevations characterized by nearly equal top altitudes. Steps of different topography are bounded by more or less distinct slopes. The slopes are of structure-denudational and denudational nature. Steps and slopes were dated back to Paleogene -Pleistocene time.
